Immigration Evaluations
in the Northern Virginia area (including Fairfax, Tysons, Alexandria, Arlington, Centreville neighboring locations)
Immigration Evaluations are a process, a stressful, tedious, and long one. I focus on providing comprehensive and compassionate assessments for individuals navigating through immigration cases. I collaborate with both the individual and/or attorney to complete a thorough evaluation with a prompt turnaround.
My approach combines empathy and cultural sensitivity to understand the unique challenges faced by immigrants. I strive to deliver thorough and objective evaluations that support clients in presenting their case effectively.
Whether you are applying for a hardship waiver, removal cases, VAWA, and/or U/T visas, I am here to provide professional support and guidance throughout the evaluation process.
How it Works
Feel free to call or email to schedule a 15 minute consultation
Schedule an intake during the consultation if you feel comfortable starting the evaluation process
Therapist and applicant will meet on a virtual platform to begin the evaluation:
Initial appoint for evaluations tend to take 1-1.5 hours.
1-2 Additional session(s) may be necessary to get details or a more accurate evaluation.
Therapist will write up an evaluation and reach out to attorney if necessary
Therapist will follow up with patient to see if last meeting is necessary.
During each step of the way, therapist will reach out to applicants about any changes or communication outside of the meeting (ie. attorneys, family members).
Types of Evaluations I provide
Hardship Waivers & Cancellation of Removal cases assess the extreme hardships of family members being separated from the applicant and/or demonstrate the impacts if they had to relocate.
Asylum cases focus on understanding why individuals have fled their country. We make active efforts in getting the individual’s story and the impacts it may have had on them.
VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) Evaluations evaluate statements of abuse or battery and the physical, psychological, and emotional impacts it had on someone.
U Visas: This evaluation is available to survivors of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement. Mostly when the crime has started or exacerbated a pre-existing condition.
T Visas are similar to U Visas but are specified for individuals who are victims of human trafficking and/or attempted trafficking.
All Services are available in Korean and English!
All appointments will be provided through a HIPAA-compliant, online platform, with both visual and audio settings.
